Car Gurus, How do you determine a car has been in an accident?

Asked by Barry May 01, 2015 at 08:51 AM about the 2010 Lexus LS 460 RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Car Gurus,
When I slide the accident bar for 0 accidents, some cars are removed.  However, at least one of them has a clean CarFax.  Please advise.

Try this, have someone drive away from you slowly and carefully look and see how the car tracks away from you. It should go in a straight line and not look as if its a crab walking down the road. That plus any information from Carfax and any other provenance will assist you. Good luck. If you have any doubt or someone ducks your questions, walk away. There's plenty of cars out there.
