most problems of this nature are related to ground...as you know there is but one hearty connection from the 1/0 cable to the battery....well where it attaches to the ground is a trouble area, 'cause 300 or so AMPS are going to "weld" the connection...is okay at first...then gets clobbered with corrosion making the ground unreliable...such so that it is impeding on the ECM/ECU ability to perform basic ignition duties...think about it....varying voltages...drops down to 10Volts and up to 12.5 randomly with amperages in the hundreds of amps....but all we need is perhaps 750 mA~ here is the problem with this system of linking the battery demands to the computer....albeit a BUSS----when will they learn?....clean the 1/0 connection with a coarse wirebrush to assure connectivity...also the Battery should be newer than five years old or else we will have problems with the alternator as well....now~
