I have a 1994 LS400 and when parking the car I can remove the key without putting the car in park. If I am not careful the car can roll away. Has anyone else had this problem and was it repaired.

My LS400 is not running like a V8 should. For the first few years i've had the car it ran great. I use to fool around and drive fast, and when i hit the gas it picked up speed and roared like a V8 should, now it doesn't pick up the speed nor rev up like it used to. What could be the problem? 2000 lexus ls400 204k the car was having trobule starting after sitting for an hour atleast. so i changed battery nothing chnaged then i replaced postive terminal with a terminal right from lexus and that solved the problem the car started all the time now after 2 weeks and heavy rain one night i am having the same problem when i put the new terminal in everything fine but why after 2 weeks am i having the same problem? 19 Answers

I recently purchased a well maintained 1993 Lexus LS 400, but the battery was said to be a problem. I have only driven it a few times, but I notice when I apply the breaks the headlaps blink. Can this be a symptom of an electrical problem that would explain why the battery was always being drained for the prior owner? I am going to purchase a new high quality battery, but the prior owner told me to keep the + terminal disconnected so it would not go dead. Alternater for lexus ls400 issues. My car wouldn't start till i jumped it. I went to auto zone and was told my alternater was only putting out 11v. I drove to another one and it read 13.09v. anyone kn 2 Answers
