End of Lease Vehicle

Asked by Guru99K9WW Oct 13, 2020 at 01:09 PM about the 2017 Lexus IS 350 RWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I just made my last lease payment on my vehicle. The vehicle is worth more
than the cost to purchase the vehicle through the dealership. So I have the
option to sell the vehicle privately, pay off the remaining balance through the
dealership and keep the extra cash. Can I sell my vehicle through CarGurus
since the title wouldnt be available until after I sold it on your site and them
paid off the vehicle?

I think you would have to make the deal before the turn in date comes around. Read your lease!

Correct but the title would not be available to the buyer for about 2-3 weeks. There is a legal agreement that the buyer and I could sign but wanted to see if we could still use the CarGurusPay

You pay off the lease vehicle at the dealership first. To post a vehicle for sale on this site, I would think you would need to have the title in your name. So purchase the vehicle first, wait for the title, then sell it to another buyer. contact user_support@Cargurus.com to ask more about Cargurus pay and the process.
