Different tire sizes front and rear
My Lexus has 225 45 17 tires on the front and 245 45 17 on the back. Is it a
bad idea to put 245 width tires on all rims?

Look for a sticker on the door jamb for correct tire sizes or in the owners manual , thinner shorter ( not by much ) tires in the front's not a bad thing .
