Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently got a VSC and Check engine light. I had the code read. It is C1201 (Engine Control System Malfunction) and P0304.(Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected).Could the Cylinder 4 Misfire cause the Engine Control System Malfunction.

Are you sure it is a c1201 code? C1201 - ABS Inlet Valve Coil LF Circuit Short To Ground...Possible symptoms ABS Warning Light ON, Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light). The po304 is a misfire in cylinder #4. This would not cause a ECM malfunction.
