Asked by Mikmar Nov 08, 2014 at 09:59 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Car will not start - I did get into the car through the hatch (doors will not open) but I
cannot open the hood to get access to the battery. There must be a way to get the hood
open ???

There should be a manual release cable that is in the driver side rear trunk area to open the driver door. Then you can open the hood.

If you can't find the release cable. You said you could in through the hatch. There is a lever to the left of the driver seat, pull up on this lever and the door will open. Then you should be able to get to the HOOD release. It is not electric so it will work.
