can i get a pic of a 1967 engine showing whether it is an aletnator or generator

The 1967 vw had a generator: http://www.ozarkvw.com/tuneup.html Here is a good site on alternator vs generators. The alternator replacement page has an image of what the alternator and fan look like, which might help. I could not find an image of a 1967 engine, but I think this site will be helpful. http://www.vw-resource.com/alternator_generator.html
