My 1998 a class starts and drives for 10 mins and then just cuts out for a good 40 mins

My 1998 A class keeps stoping every 10 to
15 mins and then it takes up to 40 mins to
start back up I have change the fuel filter
and still the same so I Cleand the carb and
air intake with a spray and had the car at
300rpm wile I sprayd the cleaner in to the
intake but same thing is still happing I got
told it could be the crankshaft position
sensor I don't no has anyone had or have
the same prob
