I was looking at this 2002 325 I , w something
wrong w sensors , and 162,000 miles one it is it a
reliable car if I take it by auto zone and it checks ok
on an inspection ?

The 2.5 is a very good engine. With proper maintenance will go 500k km without a problem. There are 2 types of gearboxes: (auto), the gm ones are prettybad. After 2002, in usa, i remeber putting the good one. If you buy one, better buy a good diagbnostic tool and learn to work with it, often they develop strange sensor problems.
