Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just acquired a Lexus ES300 at140,000 miles, but the leather sets have been torn and ragged. Besides using car seat covers should I look for new seats?

Congratulations on your new Lexus. You might try salvage yards for replacement seats, but the leather may be as bad, or the electrics might not work. Or not. Doesn't hurt to look at used. If you find some, preserve the leather with mink oil or MothersĀ® VLR, Vinyl-Leather-Rubber, cleans, conditions & protects. My Lexus' seats are in good condition, but since they were not heated, I went with sheepskin seat covers.
