Transmission issues, electrical

Asked by 2008dxl Jul 16, 2016 at 10:38 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck downshifts while going uphill but
feels like it gets caught between gears
( basically In neutral). Turn off key/turn on
and runs just fine afterward.. Think it's
electrical cause my odometer doesn't
highlight what gear I'm in while this is
happening.

Or ignition switch going out if you do not see a light on your gear indicator. Your computer will send your Trans into limp mode if It detects something isn't right.
