Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2015 honda civic lx cvt sedan.  Manual states 0w20 oil  Honda dealer has
been putting in 5W20.  Which one can I use for next oil change?  Why the
discrepancy

If you have no issues I would stick to the 5W20. Zero weight oil it really thin and it can cause oil consumption problems. Your dealer is probably trying to avoid oil consumption claims.

Question above is mine - just called dealership again- manager told me they have been putting in 0W20 - how can I find out the truth?
