The cars I'm looking for are in Texas, California and Florida.  How do they get to
me?

You drive them home or you pay a company to ship it to you, If you buy cars without seeing them be very careful! Try the Lemon Squad for inspections. You will probably find that the savings are eaten up by the shipping costs.

Shipping a car or traveling to another state to drive it home can become huge expenses, and only worth the trouble for collector cars. You also have to consider the advantage of living near the dealership that sold you the car for maintenance or warranty work, versus having that dealership hundred or thousands of miles away. I'd shop local if at all possible.
