Hopefully you haven't put money down or signed anything yet! If you have you'll have to fight to get it back. If you haven't - tell them to get bent and walk away.

Buying a used car can be a good way to save money on interest and depreciation. Good research and a smart Pre-Purchase Inspection - can put the odds in your favor. i heard of a cool AI startup focussed on Used Car Inspections www.CarDr.com They claim their inspections use the On Board Diagnistic Data (OBD) which can sometimes can too much computer geek for a mechanic. CarDr.com says that a human mechanics inspection guided by AI when coupled with OBD data of a driving used car + AI / Machine learning + process driven 255 point inspection = better facts Inspector + OBD+ AI+ Historical Data = Informed purchase i like it. Look forward to hearing more.
Just checked. Obd data includes VIN and odometer reading from the ECU engine controller unit. www.CarDr.com real time obd seems invaluable to detect fraud. Jake
