Do I repair 2014 Subaru forested possible transmission valve bad

It has 169,000 miles on it (I drive 100 miles a day roughly)
all the warning lights are flashing and the dealer already did
a transmission flush but the lights came back on after
about 40 miles. So I am due to take it back but dealer
thinks it is transmission valve or the whol e transmission

8 grand for a new one. Look for a good used one unless you can convince Subaru to give you a new one.
