is there a 1970's hellcat

there is a big debate i looked it up and found that
the 70,71 and 72 challenger srt was dubbed the
hellcat but some of my coworkers are arguing they
are demons and the hellcat is a new concept just
released wich i called bs so aho is right/wrong

The Dodge Demon ('71-'72) is based on the Dodge Dart. The moniker "Demon" is also used for the 2008+ Challengers (along with "Hellcat"). I see no reference to any '70-'72 Challengers referred to as "Hellcats." I am looking through a Dodge source book. If you can prove there were early 70's Challengers dubbed "Hellcats", I'm all ears.
