How much below the dealer asking price can I make an offer. Is the a rule of thumb percentage?

If no trade is involved I like $2,500 off the asking price on a 2 to 5 year old vehicle. Do some research on www.kbb.com or www.nada.com to see what it may be worth. If a trade is involved it becomes much more complicated. Also I would not buy a Hyundai, but it is your money.

I would be in the $2500 - $3000 range, same as Bob. I would also agree with him....don't buy a Hyundai.
