Buick Rendezvous stopped on me while I was driving it and won't start anymore...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So again, I am the same one who asked the
question about what could be stopping my Buick
rendezvous from starting after it stopped on me
while I was driving but all the windows, door locks
and lights work... First I was told it could be the
alternator or starter...
Now I'm told that it could be a charging problem
and for me to try to get a mobile mechanic to
come out to look at it or take it to a shop..
I don't have the money for all that, that's why I'm on
here trying to find out some answers!!!

I KEEP ASKING IF THE OIL NOT BEING CHANGED
EVERY SINCE I HAD THE CAR COULD STOP IT
FROM STARTING BY LOCKING UP THE MOTOR
BUT NO ONE WILL ANSWER ME...

I NEED SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS ABOUT CARS TO
ANSWER MY QUESTIONS....

alternator is a component that is part of the charging system. A starter is part of the ignition system. Now if your wondering if a long over due oil change can make your engine to stop running, well yes. if you never check it and it ran out of oil. Did you check the oil? We are all giving you good information but unfortunately you need to take it in for some repairs.
