i have a 1992 toyota pickup 22re when i reinstalled the timing belt the two black marks on the chain top and bottom were lined up but when i rotated the motor to ajust my valves the black chain mark did not line up but the intake valvles were ready for ajustment does it matter that the black chain mark is not on the point

Engine needs to be rotated in it's normal operating direction. Did you turn it backwards?
