2008 charger will not start

Asked by Jtyson83 Feb 12, 2018 at 12:39 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 3.5 charger. I was driving it home the other
day. Came to a red light and it just died. No lights, no
noises, just died. Tried to restart it, it just cranks and cranks
but never fires. It's acting like it's not getting fuel to the
engine. I swapped out the fuel pump. Didn't help. Some one
suggested swapping the cam sensor, also had no effect.
Running out of patients and hair to pull out. Any help would
be hugely appreciated! Thanks.

Would get a scan tool to see if there are any pending codes as a starting point. Could be several things such as a crank sensor.

pull the OBD CODES and then post an intelligent question OBD II Codes have been around for 22 years now since 1996 DAH

Sorry, I should have explained that. The car is throwing no codes. No check engine light or any other warning lights are on. Which is why I'm at such a loss for possible causes.
