Have you ever bothered to have the oil changed 27,000 kilometers is somewhere around 14,000 miles . Check your oil after every two tanks of gas ?? Warranty work so times can be denied because of misuse or neglect I hope that this isn't the case here

Gm knows of issue with motor. If the check engine code flashes a misfire piston rings have disintegrated and need to be replaced . If you are under 60k miles its covered under warranty. (powertrain) it will Have to be left with dealer about 3 days and they will rebuild the lower half of the motor (4 new pistons and rings) . also one sure sign of this beilg a problem , are you constantly adding oil? If so you are burning it . GET TO the dealer

Yes I have had problems with my 2017 Malibu since day 5 of purchase. That reduce engine should b a recall. I have even taken the problem to the better business bureau of course GM was there so the outcome from GM they stated that reduce engine is not a problem. I was almost killed when this stop on the expressway. I think anyone who owns this car . We should be able to file a class action law suit against GM. Anyone know an attorney let me know.
