Transmission fuel in engine

Daughter went to oil can Henry’s and they used
transmission fuel instead of oil for oil change and
she drove it before knowing. What should she do?
Is her car ruined?

make them change the fluid and filter NOW, If they knew they did wrong all expenses should be on them meaning even the tow back to the shop (and it should get towed so engine does not run again) as for damage hopefully not.years ago we would add transmission fluid or even diesel fuel into oil to help with removing carbon, transmission fluid is a natural cleaner but a whole crankcase full is not good.

How did you learn that they used the trans fluid....i'd be certain to get that signed in writing, by a manager...and Corporate follow up...Then sell them the vehicle....Getting a feeling this vehicle will wind up on auction block...

Definitely get this mishap in writing, so if or when engine fails you got some legal recourse. Get employee names, time, dates, receipts, etc.
