what should a tune up for a 2003 mustang include?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We are an elderly couple.  We have a 2003 Mustang convertible. My husband
is unable to advise me about scheduling any maintenance.  The car has not
been to the shop for anything in 3 years.  It mostly sits in the garage.  I know
nothing about cars but I know this one needs a tune up or something.  The car
runs fine but we rarely drive it..

A tuneup on a Triton V8 would be just spark plugs unless a coil or coils are bad. An entire set of new coils can be bought for well under $100 on Amazon. Plugs will be around $10 each because they should be double platinum. Like Tom suggests there are other maintenance items to consider.
