1998 GMC sierra won't start after I had changed head gaskets, timing is on, I'm getting fuel+fire. It just turns over and seems to have no intentions on wanting to start, I don't know what it could be

Is timing set TDC on the ignition stroke or the exhaust stroke? It happens. Otherwise make sure the circuit breakers did not get blown or any electrical connections left loose or un-hooked.

I got it set to the right stroke, I just changed cap+button and wires+plugs. I'm gonna try to jump it off today. And I also hit the cylinders with a torch to take away the flooding.
