Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Is it possible that the prices of cars on
CarGurus be reduced drastically if u
bargain with the dealer especially if one is
willing to pay CASH instead of monthly
payments? For example if a car is listed as
$4,500 , can I beat down to let's say
$3,000 or $3,200 if I'm willing to pay at
once no bs.

Private sellers and dealers can take whatever they want for their vehicles. I doubt many have a 33% mark up though. Well, per your example, I doubt that someone selling a car for 4500 would take 3000 unless they are hard up. Cash is always king.
