Can I put 2014 Ford Escape wheels on my 2004 Ford Escape buying new wheels for winter tires.

No, they do not interchange, fit from one to the other. The 2014 bolt pattern is a 5 x 108 dia. and the 2004 pattern is 5 x 114.3 dia pattern.
