Don't you hate that. No really it happens all the time. I could tell you a lot if things to check but let's do simple first and retrace your steps. First look for broken or a damage wire at the sensor or down the harness. Do the pins look OK in the connector if so than you can (A) put old sensor back in line and try it. If no luck than I would disconnect both sides of battery for 10 or so than touch positive and negative together right before you reattach both cables back to the battery. (B) you can do same for new sensor. If still no start than you may have more than map issue. You could have intermittent power going to map sensor or other issues. Lot of sensors share the same B+ line. Unless you have the time and know enough about tracing electrical circuits than it could take you some time to track it down. Remember the codes are just to help guide you in the right direction.
