Jumped timing chain /failed tensioner

1 Answer

I recently went and had a water pump replacement and the mechanic said when they started the engine the engine chain jumped due to a failed tensioner. Is it possible for them to fix it and is it my responsibility to pay for anything other than having the water pump replaced?
