2004 GMC envoy

When I start my truck it makes a sound like
an electric saw I don't know what the
problem is. It only does it when it is first
started and when it sit for a couple hours.
Could it be the fuel pump?

It could be an electric fuel pump. If you have load leveling shocks, it could be those too.

    Envoy transmission has slow leak resulting in some pulling. Otherwise everything runs well, cold a/c, no engine problems, etc. sunroof, leather seats, onstar, etc
