my ford ranger won't start

My ford ranger will not start it turns over its getting
fuel and spark but when I try to start it starts then
sputters out and dies

Would check fuel rail pressure if that is o.k. possibly crank sensor. Other thoughts are inertia switch but you said you were getting fuel. That's all I got for ideas. Good Luck!
