01 Dodge Caravan

I have an 01 Caravan took it to the store yesterday
came home shut it off went back out later to try to
go and it wouldn't start I have no dash lights no
headlights no nothing just dead I tried to jump it
and my jumper cables started melting

If you have no power at all, check your ground connection. Also charge your battery fully and have it load tested.
