I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6L. I just changed the rear drums, shoes, and all of the springs. When I move the car, I can hear a noise that sounds like a spring popping. Also, my parking brake lifts up a lot more than before, but it still works. I put all of the springs on correctly, the shoes are on the right side, and the adjuster is on correctly. I did have trouble putting on the drum and had to adjust it quite a bit. I checked the rotation of the wheel and it lagged nicely. I’m not sure what this spring noise could be or if it’s normal for new springs. If you have any ideas about what the noise could be, it would be helpful. 7 Answers

TOTALLY STUMPED!! I have a 1998 Subaru Forester S. Had a miss fire on # 1 cylinder. Put in new plugs, wires, coil pack, miss fire is gone...BUT... then the car sputters when you push the throttle. If you ease into the throttle it's ok. Idles fine. Other new parts we have tried to fix this are... cam sensor, TPS, fuel filter, and cleaned the EGR. Any ideas what is causing this? 8 Answers

I have an 87 D21 Nissan truck it will start and run but just a second then stop firing you can leave it over night and it will crank again. I have changed the coil got the same thing. I checked the voltage to the coil with switch on its 12.95 volts when turning over it goes down to 9.5 volts. any suggestions ? 5 Answers
