I have a question about my 2004 jeep cherokee

I have a 2004 jeep Cherokee while driving the
engine overheats when I stop let it idle it cools
down my AC works and my Heat works any
suggestions or ideas as to what my problem is I'd
greatly appreciate any responses thank you very
much Frank

Make sure the radiator fan is working, otherwise it could be the thermostat, bad water pump, the impeller getting eroded away, or the radiator and cooling system needs a flush.
