Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I run my Chevrolet Sonic RS Turbo 1.4 4 cylinder on
a highway to and from work everyday 6 days a
week the engine runs at 3000 RPMs at 70 miles
per hour in 6th Gear what can I do to save this
engines life I feel that it's not going to last 251000
miles like my previous vehicle a 2005 Pontiac
Sunfire 2.2 4 cylinder 5 speed manual should I run
better motor oil what should I do

Drive slower, change the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 with synthetic oil. Idle the car for a minute or two before shutting it off to save the turbo bearings. The better you maintain it, the longer it will last.
