If you buy it plan on taking out a second on your house to finance the repairs.

For the age of the vehicle it's not excessive, but it is on the high side. This vehicle was driven about 16,000 miles per year. Average is 10,000 to 15,000 miles per year. I wouldn't buy it for my primary source of transportation and I definitely wouldn't pay a lot for it. Run a vehicle history report, such as Carfax, if you're interested in it, and see what pops up. If it has a strong service history and has been serviced by the dealer it may have a few good years left in it. But be prepared to have to do some repairs on it and BMWs aren't cheap to fix!! Consider it if you're looking for a second car or a toy, but not as your only transportation!! HTH. -Jim

Too many miles on a vehicle with very expensive maintenance and repair costs. Never buy any BMW that is used unless you have spare cash to burn.
