How to address dealer dishonesty?

Asked by Bill N Feb 27, 2017 at 04:14 PM

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I recently leased a 2016 Honda CRV from the Honda Store in Boardman,
Ohio.  The salesman and finance manager were terribly dishonest and
pushed us through a deal that is now costing me $1,400.00.  Verbal
agreement was for dealer to pay present lease buyout with agreement to
lease new CRV.  Dealer has reneged on paying buyout.  If you are looking
for a new or used vehicle please stay clear of The Honda Store in
Boardman, Ohio.

Verbal agreements are binding, but one would have to have a witness and then seek legal advise. You should have got it in writing.
