1998 Toyota Camry alternator

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just replaced alternator, all  went well. Got a jump
start and began to drive and lost all power as soon
as I pulled out of my parking space.

If the battery was dead it could have damaged the new alternator. Need to get the battery checked and charged up or replaced. Hopefully the alternator is still good.
