won't fire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1978 mg MGB .Started and ran then died. Now
cranks but won't fire. Recent purchase and have
installed new coil, wires, distributor cap and plugs
and also fuel pump and filter. Still won't fire

Check the ballast resistor on the coil. They will burn out, common thing. Also you didn't mention the rotor. And you can have the coil tested at your local auto parts store.
