Can I replace my 1996 factory vortex
350 engine with a regular 350 engine
with a carburetor, cam, headers.will any
of my dashboard gagues work?

Well no. Gauges would not work. You would have to totally strip the truck, new gauges, rewire the engine so it would run, have to find a different trany, Th350 or 400, re-dew the fuel line to the gas tank, possibly find a different drive shaft, probably more stuff to do, this is just off the top of my head.
