truck won't start unless P is red

My 2011Ford F-150XLT 4X4 Supercab
some times will not start for up to 20
minutes until the red P  lights up   Please
HELP! !!

Sounds like a problem with the neutral safety switch, which be the way there may be a recall for on your vehicle. (https://www.cars.com/recalls/ford-f150-2011/). The problem actually extends to the GEM (generic electronic module).
