Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 350 from an 84 Chevy with a 700r4 tranny
that I want to put in a 97 Chevy 1500 with the
4L60E. What do I have to do to make it work and is
it worth my time?

It can be done, you will need the tranny as well and some fab work will need to be done. both are not worth much, so I don't think its worth the time.. you will need to do allot of re-wring as well...

the electronic engine controls are the difference- it is not worth the time- either rebuild the engine you have or go for a crate engine with a carb-
