Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's  stock internally and I was wondering if it
would be worth turboing. I understand they
aren't made for turboing and building. I want
something fast and reliable. Ik I should've
gotten the wrx but at the time there was none
for sale in my price range. I've considered
trading it for a different car with a turbo but I'm
not sure. It has 148k miles currently on it.

Trading the car in would be the easiest way to get a turbo engine. I think there are turbo kits for your car but you will risk blowing it up as your engine does not have the heavy duty pistons etc.

With that many miles on your engine I would do a full rebuild on it with forged pistons etc. before installing a turbo but again it would be better to buy a WRX.
