I'm about to purchase a used car, wondering what
documentation I need to gather from them and
what would be a good start price from listed price  
to negotiate. Thank you!

It really depends on the vehicle itself and the condition of the vehicle. If the vehicle is in good shape and you feel the price is high, I think most sellers are expecting some back and forth. I would think 5-10% lower than ask is a good place to start, but again, its really dependent on the situation at hand.
