You forgot to ask a question. But since the question type is shopping and pricing, here's some basic info. The hybrid battery in a 2005 Prius contains 28 individual cells. You can buy a single cell on Ebay for about $40. Check YouTube for instructions to change it (pretty easy and straight forward). It takes a couple of hours to do it yourself. I've seen shops on Craigslist that charge $699 to repair it. A dealership is going to be a lot more expensive, $1500 to $3000. Not sure about private shops.
