my car keeps cutting off and i replaced the fuel pump what else could it be

wayne, you did not tell us which vehicle...most have a fuel pressure reset button if the ABS system detects a collision by tapping bumpers...something as tiny as that can have these safety features such that it kills the car...I played hell trying to diagnose the problem the first time I encountered this as a Sunday mechanic with NO HELP from anyone and no internet either~ "magic red button"~
