Infiniti g35 coupe vs Mini Cooper s

I'm gonna be getting a new car when
I turn 18 and I was wondering about
these. What are the 0-60 times? does
the g35 coupe come in FWD???? Ill
probably be driving in snow
anywhere from 1-3 inches ill be
getting reddy for collage and I want a
good car reliable car! I don't want
something that's really really fast or
really really slow I drive a 2003
Volkswagen beetle tdi and that's
pretty slow I want something so
when I need to pass somebody I
won't be hesitant about passing
because I don't know if my car if
gonna be able to pass them that
quick I would like something that has
good power from the time you hit the
accelerator (I don't like that sluggish
feeling and then you turbo kicks in!) I
would like to have a decent size trunk
I will probably go on a road trip and
probably lay the seats down if
possible I also want a roomy car not
like a truck roomy but at least roomy
in the front seat cabin I'm 6ft tall and
would like some knee and head room
in my next car and surprisingly I fit
really comfy in my volkswagen and
also is it possible to change your
headlight bulbs to Xeon headlights
for any car??? I really want good
lights in my car and I would love a
sun roof but before you call me a brat
or a rich spoiled kid or anything I just
thought I would let you know I have
been working even scence I was 15
and I started working full time
everyday in the summer so I have
enough money to buy a car around
$25,000 and I wouldn't care if it was
CPO OR USED OR BRAND NEW if it
is used or CPO I would like it under
40,000 miles and I was wondering if I
chose a good cars??? My friend had
a g35 and she loved it but if anybody
could help me with this I Would
greatly appreciate it thank you soo
much :D

The g35 is a great car. Get it in all wheel drive (branded with an x) if snow is an issue. It should do 0-60 in the mid 5s which is plenty fast. They are stylish, comfortable And responsive. It will feel roomier for both passengers and driver And will offer more trunk space than a mini. fuel economy is where the g35 is at a disadvantage. If you want to save at the pump, is get the mini, otherwise I would spring for the Infiniti.

Thank you fuel economy is not that much of a problem cuz it's not horrible on the g35 but ill only be going to school (wich is in my neighborhood) and driving to work (wich is 10 min away) so I think I'm good on that thank you soo much! And would you recommend a 2003?

2003s have had minor heating and air conditioning Issues that cost about 400 dollars to fix. Plus, and I may be wrong here, but I don't think the started offering an all wheel drive version until 2004. If your budget is 25k, you should be able to find a 2008 with less than 50,000 miles on it.

come to think of it though, I don't think you can get a coupe in all-wheel drive. I'm very sorry if this has misslead you in any way

Lol it's ok I'll be fine in a rwd I now live in Texas so I won't be getting much snow anyways but just I case ur wondering yes Texas does get snow just not a lot of it I probably won't even be driving in anything deeper than 3inches I won't have to worry about it as much as I did in NYC

I traded in my 2004 G35X for a 2011 Mini Copper S. The infiniti was the most boring car ever. the X is only available in and auto and the trans was horrible. I absolutely love my MINI. not as fast in a straight line, but I can go 15 mph faster through the turns then I could with the Infiniti.

New yorker- both cars are great, they are quick, they get a lot of attention, and they're fun to drive. though normally compared to the Lexus IS350, bmw 335, or Mercedes c300, the Infiniti does match up very interestingly with the cooper mini S. ultimately I suggest you test drive both but try not to compare an 8 year old infiniti to a two year old cooper mini. between 2004 and 2008 the G35 got a horsepower boost of nearly 20% (280 hp to 306 hp respectively) while the transmission received an upgrade as well in 2007, incorporating the Nissan Z's rev matching technology. Having driven the G35 many times I have to say, I love the driving experience. It offers more driver feedback and thus a more sporty feel than even my Lexus IS350 and performs very well on straights and in the bends. I have not driven a cooper mini so I don't know how it drives, but before you go drop 25K on a car, you need to go drive them back to back. Im sure you will not be disappointed with either.
