okay, the american designed SSC ultimate Aero has two models. The street legal model is slower than the Veyron by a few mph, the non street legal on the other hand, is slightly faster. The 911 turbo is not even in the same league as the other cars with a top speed of about 200 mph. Although the new turbo S accelerates almost as fast as the Veyron, it runs out of steam well below the Veyrons 253 mph top speed. To continue, Bugatti has released a new Veyron called the Super Sports with a governed top speed of about 260 mph. The saleen hits about 248 mph close to the top speed of the street legal SSC. So, to be specific, the worlds fastest non-modified street legal car is indeed the Bugatti Veyron Super Sports.
