Can E85 Fuel be run on Standard petrol engines? If not what has to be done to make it work, and what kind of performance would you get compared to petrolium?

No, you need a flex fuel engine to do this. It's not really practical to modify an existing gas engine -- you need hardened valve seats, different injectors and fuel rail, fuel lines, tank, etc., because E85 is so corrosive. I would find a flex fuel car you like and buy it.

no added performance either if anything worse and youll actually get worse milage then you do with gas
