Premium and economical? Premium vehicles are never economical, maintenance, parts and labor are high. And then your also wanting a SUV on top of that. Prices are crazy high on anything right now, so even if you did find everything you wanted it would be overpriced.
Vehicles today in BASE form are pretty well loaded. You get a good ride, power everything, and a nice sound system. Moving up in trim levels just gets you more expensive stuff that isn't really needed by anyone. And the upper level stuff costs more to maintain and it goes out sooner..... There are SUVs of various sizes available from Toyota, Honda, and Mazda that should suit anyone who's budget conscious and looking for reliability..... Assess what you want and review SUVs on sites like Edmonds and TrueCar to see what best fits your needs & wants. Stay away from those that don't provide the highest reliability or satisfaction ratings.
